Album Notes
Personnel include: Junior Wells (vocals, harmonica); Earl Hooker (vocals, guitar); Syl Johnson (guitar); Willie Dixon (bass instrument); Eugene Lounge (drums).
Featuring tracks recorded in the late 1950s and early '60s, soon after the blues harmonica giant Junior Wells completed his army service, this best-of includes hits like "Little By Little" and "Messin' With the Kid" as well as the gritty "Prison Bars All Around Me" and "Calling All Blues," the latter one of Wells's productive partnerships with the guitarist Earl Hooker.

Editorial Reviews
The real delights here are the studio sessions, which remain among the most important and enjoyable Chicago postwar blues sides.
