Introduction to Information Systems by George M. Marakas, George Marakas, James A. O'Brien (2007, Package)

Pretty easy book to read, considering I am not a CIS major, the chapters are laid out easy and the questions in the back of the chapter really help with the studying the material.

This was not the U.S. edition; it was the universal edition but it is very similar. I wouldn't have bought it knowing that it was the international edition.

Sorry I forgot to right the review. It was a really good price for the book. The turn around time in recieving the book was great. I will buy from this saler again.

I like that the international edition is the exact same book, but cheaper! Why spend twice the price?

The book is ridiculously simple and extremely poorly written. It is at least 10 years behind in terminology in a field that excels in that, and many of the examples are so biased toward big names in IT (Microsoft and Apple, for example) it is pathetic. It is a non-funny parody and it barely glosses over the surface of what information technology in the "real world" is really all about. If this text is going to be used in your survey class on IT, good luck in actual practice, you are going to need it!
