Intimate Issues by Linda Dillow, Lorraine Pintus (1999, Hardcover)

I purchased this book after my pastor recomended it during a series on marriage he was teaching. I really appreciate that it offers biblically based advice to Christian women, since so many books about intimacy are written for the secular world. The book covers a wide variety of topics and issues women face within a marriage relationship and backs up the information with scripture. However, I would have preferred the scripture be from the King James Version, rather then many other versions. The chapters end with questions and prayers to help improve intimacy in marriage. I really enjoyed this book and it opened my eyes to what the Bible says about the relationship between husband and wife.

This book was highly recommended to a group of women in leadership but applies to all women everywhere. I wish I had read it years ago because it shows us how God heals us of all kinds of sexual hurts and frees us to being the very best lover to our husbands. It is the clearest and sweetest book I have read on pure sexual love between a wife and her husband. You won't be sorry you read this one! There are several chapters that would be great to read and discuss together with your spouse. Enjoy this wonderful book!

This is an excellent book to read by all married women who love God and their husbands. It is a really good Biblical eye-opener for married women who want to understand better the way God intended sex to be - between a husband and wife. You'll be surprised... sensuous, intoxicated, ecstasy ... that God intends for you in your marriage.

Wow, what a book. This book was better than any romance novel. Very intimate details that you definitely have to share with your spouse. If you go through the book together, it greatly improves your "special time" together. If you want a second honeymoon, read this book!
