The Interruption Of Everything by Terry McMillan (2005, Hardcover)

This is one of my favorite authors, so I read everything written by her. I really liked this book because many of the circumstances was very realistic. Terry's method of presenting ways to deal with individual situations was very practical.

I loved this book. From page one you seemingly take on the role of Marilyn.You didnt need to wonder what you would do if you were her. I mean all the characters came to life page by page. This is story telling at its best.

I bought this book because i have seen and heard so much about the author in the media, and i have grown to like her alot. she seems to have gone through so much ups and downs in her personal relationships with men like many Afican American women.
I love the book for its down to earth humor, this book is filled with real life issues, and once i began to read it i could not put it down. I read most of it during my vacation in the bahamas and found my self laughing out loud on the beach!

Lovely novel about a middle age woman going through some changes like an unexpected pregnancy, her mothers' declining health, and dissatisfaction with her personal choices, etc.

The story started off pretty interesting, but then it became bland and I was like alright, already! Poor character development, down right unrealistic. There wasn't one character that I particulary liked. This is the 2nd book by Ms. McMillan where I had to throw the book clear across the room as soon as I read the last word.

I ordered this book because we were discussing in our book club and it was a nice read. You can't really go wrong with Terry McMillan.

I Love Terry McMillans books. She is a excellent writer. This book was a great price . I rate this as excellent.
