Product Information
The ENTIA BRI ISDN Communications Controller, a single-slot, fully compliant PCI 2.1 card, uses Open Systems Architecture. This allows the card to support third party hardware or software products to obtain added functionality and to meet specific customer requirements. These controllers utilize Smart Card Technology with an on-board RISC processor to locally execute all communications protocols. The controllers support a variety of popular communications protocols and are certified by Microsoft for use in NT RAS and RRAS systems. Designed for scalability, each controller comes equipped with one CPU motherboard and one WAN line interface daughter card. In addition, the controllers are designed for easy plug and play installation allowing full installation in less than 15 minutes.
