Managing people in a multicultural context
7 of 8 people found this review helpful.
It is an introductory international human resources management (IHRM) textbook that brings in an international dimension to managing the human capital in an organization. It is easy to read and gives some good examples on practices of different countries and research data. With increased globalization and intercultural communication, this is a good starting point for those who want to get a taste of how IHRM differs from the ordinary human resources or personnel function in a local company. It will also be an interesting book for those who want to be involved in international management of a global or transnational organization.
