AUTO GYROS AND RADIOSCOPES RULE!!!

"International House " is a crazy, all-star "period piece" movie not often shown on TCM or other classic movie channels. W.C. Fields is at his best as Prof. Quaile, dishing out hysterically funny (and often double-entendre) lines to everyone in the film ( "don't let the posey fool you!")....Make sure you catch his quick, fabulous juggling moves like the flipped candlestick. Seeing Burns and Allen as young comedians is a great historical flashback, along with seeing Bela Lugosi in a role OTHER than Dracula. Don't miss the great Cab Calloway singing " Reefer Man "; check out " Baby Rose Marie " LONG before she showed up on the Dick Van Dyke Show (yes, that is her!); and if YOU can explain Colonel Stoopnagle and Budd, more power to you! A silly, funny movie, and Fields is at his best!

) Funny how one thing leads to another when surfing the net. I was doing some research on Fats Domino on youtube when this five minute mpeg of International House came up. I watch it and the auto action wi WC Fields running a car inside a Hotel really got my attention. Sooooo next thing I had to do was buy a vhs of the movie. Guess Ebay next thing and found one for a little of nothing and bought it reviewed it. Really had a lot of nostalgia for a 60 yr old like myself. As a kid I really loved Field George Burns and Gracie. I dont recall ever veiwing this movie on TV or at the picture show we took in as kids on weekends. Of course at that time Hoppy Gene Autry and Roy rogers took the cake for me. Thank the Good lord for Ebay. jimdalton Tuckertire.com
