I brought this book because I needed it for an accounting class that I'm taking. The book is in excellent condition. It came very fast. I am very happy and very impressed with how quickly it was shipped and the condition of the book. I am very very pleased I basically have a brand new book which I get to use for 2 accounting classes. I love it!!!

It was a great buy! I saved over 100 dollars! I love the fact that the Item I bought was brand new! The only thing I didn't like was that the seller told me that he had shipped it, then almost a week later Paypal notified me that it had just barely shipped. Who knows. Honesty on the sellers part was questionable, or I would have rated this purchase "excellent".

I disliked the fact that i did not receeve the same book i was told i was purchasing. I received a paperback version and the cover in the picture is totally different from the cover of the book i received. I essentially go the same book, but not the one i thought i had bought. And it took much longer than they said it would for it to get here.

it is a really good book. i received it in very good shape. only thing i didnt like about it is that the shippin was too late.

I got the item what it's described. New book, international version. My professor told me there are some different of exercises and problems between hard cover and International version. Utill now, I don't find the difference.

I love the explanatory language of this book. I would usually underline or highlight important points as I read....and with this book, you underline EVERY important point without highlighting the whole text. So, at the end, it is very helpful to go over the highlighted points and memorize the chapters in their entirety.This is not possible with some other textbooks where you would have to highlight just about everything to see the main point jump out at you. The only disliked feature of the book, is that it is unnecessarily extremely heavy and huge, and pricey. Also, examples are great, but then closer to the end of chapter exercises and problems, there are some problems for which there is no reference sample problem.

This book was sold as like new, but it was in bad condition with lots highlighting and writing. The seller eventual refunded my money, but I had to make a claim with half.com in order to get a response.

The item I got, 12th ed., Vol. 1 vs. the whole book contains chapters 1-14. The book is being used in my class and in the next two classes, Intermediate Accounting I (currently in), II, and III. The book is very informative, in fact, this will be one of the books I keep for future reference once I graduate due to the information in this book, vol. 1. I would recommend the whole book (chapters 1-24/1348 pgs) or volumes 1 & 2 (I don't know if there is a 3rd volume) but this book will assist in understanding additional accounting concepts and sections of the accounting cycle. If you have to purchase a book, I would recommend keeping this book but I would also recommend purchasing used vs. new due to the difference in expense between the two. If need be even purchase the Volumes with the 2007 FASB updates in it. Either way, this would make a great edition to any new accountant's book library.

This textbook is confusing, it doesn't have any solutions to the problems or exercises, and it weighs a ton...not to mention how overpriced it is. If anything, I hope the government would regulate the publishers to make education affordable!

I needed it quickly for school. I fast shipped it and it came in great timing, just when I needed it.

The book is in fantastic shape. However, shipment on this item did not occur until 3+ weeks after purchase. Even with this delay, I had to wait even longer as seller still shipped item regular mail. Purchased 3/1/09 - ; Received 4/8/09.

The book is good but really is complicated to understand for a lot of people except some. The book doesn't have solutions at the back of the book for one to know the answer to the questions and need to buy a solutions manual.

Great shape. the book fulfilled my needs for the college class and saved me a bunch of money versus paying the astronomical costs the college was charging for a part one and part two solution set that would have been almost $300.

I like everything about it. It is exactly the text that I have been using in school. I am glad to finally have a hard copy of it.

Disliked that the back of the book had a sticker removed so it sticks to everything that it touches and it also had a couple of pages that was falling out. Bought it because it was cheaper than the bookstore and they said it was in good condition.
