This book is actually a collection of papers on intercultural communication concepts written by different writer. It covers topics like values, nonverbal messages, and influence of culture on communication. What I like about this book is that they cover a wide variety of cultures including Asians, Africans, Europeans, and Americans, so you will really get an overview of how people from all four corners of the world think and behave. Having a multi-cultural background myself, I didn't agree with every single writer in this book, but I think this is good start for anyone who wants to get a taste of how diverse people can be and learn to be culturally sensitive to others.
