Synopsis A talented minor-league baseball player finds his career and personal life in ruins after his wife dies in a hit-and-run accident. Three years later, James is a sports radio host, struggling to raise his daughter alone, and control his drinking problem. Suddenly, he gets a call claiming that the disastrous car accident was no accident at all, and James finds himself caught in a murderous conspiracy. James Grippando (FOUND MONEY) creates wonderfully vivid and sympathetic characters--which only heightens the reader's involvement when the thriller plot picks up steam.

Industry Reviews "This is an excellent thriller...It's a return to the character-driven storytelling that made [Grippando's] novels...so successful." (02/15/2009)
"Author James Grippando's thrillers make the perfect marriage of well-drawn characters and realistic action. INTENT TO KILLS's characters seem like old friends, while the novel strongly fits in the family thriller genre, reminiscent of Harlan Coben." (05/17/2009)
