IntelliTouch Communications SBC-6028-2HC 1.9 GHz Twin 1-Line Cordless Expansion Handset

Telephones, as car stereos & TV's have reaped the benefits of technology over the years. The advent of cordless phones were destined to improve by going digital. This is the case with the IntellTouch Communication "CenturyTel" SBC 1.9Ghz phones. Their sleek design incorporates the keypad of a cellphone, which makes the possibility of "Face dialing" when you cradle the handset on your shoulder, a forgotten memory, like back when you had to wait for the wheel to slowly stop, before you could "DIAL" the next number, they were called "Rotary Phones". (I doubt most of the readers of this know what I'm talking about). The CenturyTel phone is sleek as I said, but offers some heft to it, so you know it's there. The cradle offers the same techie design. The color LCD display is muted due to the 64-color resolution & could offer more in the way of options, like downloading ring tones and maybe your own wallpaper or photos. In all, it's just a phone, a nice one, all the same. As I see it, home phones with land lines will go the way of the rotary phones soon anyway, so enjoy while you can.

I'm always a little afraid of refurbished electronics but these seem to work perfectly. They were very nice cosmetically as well. I would use this seller again.

I was using a good wireless phone, but would experience problems with noise and static that would interfere with the reception. The phone would not work if the microwave oven was on. I read about the new technology used on this phone and thought I would try it. The phone is very clear, under all conditions.
The phone works like a cell phone. Very thin and compact. Loaded with features, some very good and others I will never use. The best of it's features, is the speaker phone. Just hold the send button for an extra second and it's on, with excellent clarity. Most callers don't know there are on speaker and it can be completely operated from the desk or table when using both hands.
Easy to connect, just plug it into the wall jack. The battery life is one day out of the charger. Good ring tones. I am very pleased with the phone and recommend it to anyone looking for a clear sounding wireless phone.
