After the cpu change windows Vista reported a speed rating of 5.9
the core 2 duo rated 5.6
There is not enough gain ver. price to justify the purchase.
Stick with the E7400 core 2 duo / best value

commentary @ the availability not quality of porductmajor issue is availability of the product required. don't blame eBay for that but the restriction afforded by procuction, the length of time the product is going to be available is -most of the time- forcing buyer to search for other sources regardless of the increase of cost.

I bought this processor for its overclocking ablility, which I will be trying out tonight actually. Im really hoping to go from 2.4Ghz to 3.4 or so... :)
