book was bought very good, it look "like new" to me with the exception of a little rip on the side that is barely noticable

This book was required for my sisters class so I bought it for her. It came in good condition & it was shipped quickly.

I was disappointed at first, becuase the seller had a stock photo of this book with a polar bear on it. This version is the US Edition. The book that I received was a softback book and it had a bobcat on it-the international edition. Text wise, it makes no difference. Also, upon reading the ad more carefully, I noticed that the seller mentioned that the cover might be different and that the book was indeed a softback book. When purchasing, don't be fooled by the picture, however if you do end up with an international version, the text is pretty much the same.

I think this book is really good. It has a nice organization and flow, also the web tools and cd-rom really help to learn the material.

I paid for the hardback edition of the book and they sent the paperback edition which has different pg #'s.

I bought this book for college. It is for my basic Zoology course. The book is educational and well written, although I do not use it much due to the fact that most of the test material comes off of our notes. I would compare it to other science books I had for high school, just a basic, informative, educational textbook.

I loved the price. 70 dollars compared to 190 in the college bookstore. The cover is different but the contents are exactly like the US standard version. I bought the book trying to same some money on books for my daughter who is a full-time college student. Even calculating in the book buy-back program, we still saved money. As long as the content is the same, the cover does not matter.

I liked that the item was exactly what was described! Also, that there was quick shipping of the item. Great to work with!
