Insight Guide South Africa by Melissa De Villers (2005, Paperback)

What we wanted to find out if we could realistically do a 2-week trip to South Arica this fall. This book is great. Each Insight edition has hundreds of colorful pictures but still has the great history buildup on each country. This book is especially good since it has the task of describing post-Aparthiad Johannesburg and Cape Twon plus the little countries contained within: Lesthotho and Swaziland Our interests were in the arts n crafts area and these books helped us score right to what we needed know. Their advice on lodging, food and actiivities look very do0able. I will have to update my review because partly do to this book we are buying our tickets to Swaziland for this coming October.
