Robin Mcgraw is the wife of the famous television therapist, Dr. Phil. She is the mother of Jay and Jordan. She is very much her own woman.

This book gives you a glimpse into the life of one of America's favorite families. She shares with you the life-changing moments of her childhood years in Oklahoma. She talks about the day she met Phillip McGraw and their early years together. She fondly talks about her sons, Jay and Jordan, and many adventures and episodes during their young years. She tells how she has adapted to an empty nest and supported her husband's career.

She encourages women to create a life they love and to take full responsibility for their own choices. Robin shares her deep faith in God and hopes that others will be inspired to make choices that reflect their heart's truest priorities and highest goals.

I have read this book from cover to cover. I love Dr. Phil and this book is awesome. Robin really opens her heart and gives us a candid look at her life, her faith and her dreams.

I loved Robin's down home, talk-to-you like you were there style. I had no intention of buying the book at first, but thought, "what the heck?" I loved it instantly. After the first few pages, I was hooked. It was as if I was right there experiencing her life with her as she went. From humorous first encounter with her now-famous husband through decorating homes and providing family time together, to weaving life events throughout -- it was well done. I did not expect such a wonderful encounter. Truly a reader's gift.

This book was really inspirational, if your having a rough time in your life this book offers a lot of encouragement, and even if your life is going great at the moment this book offers insight on how to keep it that way or ways to make it even better. By reading this book you can tell that Robin is a spiritual and intellegent woman I really loved this book and highly reccommend it to anyone, in fact I passed it along to a friend that needed some encouragement right now. I decided to buy it because every time Dr. Phil went to Robin for comments on the show, I always was amazed at her responses and agreed with her, even if I don't always agree with Dr. Phil. And the book was so good I could'nt put it down and read it in 2 days. I hope this helps you decide that if your reading this review then you need to read this book.

I purchased this book for my Daughter who is a young Married Mother of 3 children under 6 yrs old. I was so inspired by my copy that I wanted my Daughter to think about this woman's life and how she has coped with many different situations as a wife and a Mother. How her spirituality has made her beautiful both inside and out. I laughed and I cried while reading this book. I highly recommend Inside My Heart to Women of all ages.

I decided to buy the book because I am a fan of Dr. Phil and watch the show everyday. However, I wanted to know more about Robin since we see her sporadically on the show; hence, I purchased her book. To say that she is an extraordinary woman would not be doing her justice. She gives marvelous insight into her life as a child, including what she gained from an alcoholic father and a mother who stayed with him, life as a single, life with Dr. Phil, and life as a mother. She is a woman everyone should emulate, and her book is a best seller for good reasons! Everyone should read it!

The book is wonderful. Robin seems so down-to-earth. I read the book in just a few days. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This is a very entertaining heartfelt book women can relate to!

I love her zest for life and unwillingness to accept anything less that perfection, but sometimes you do have to bend. I dislike some of the preaching she seemed to do, I decided to buy it because I was interested in what she , as a fellow woman, had to say.

I liked that once you started the book there was lots of great experiences and stories and you wanted to keep reading until the last page! I didn' like that at the end I had expected so much more to get YOU PERSONALLY EXCITED about the roles you play as women and wifes,and mother I didn't feel I recieved that at all it was disapointing. Book was great but it didn't cover what they said it would do.

Even though this book was written for women, I really enjoyed it. Sometimes stars lives seem flawless, but Robin's book proves they are just like everyone else. Recommend anybody and everybody read this book.

Iloved it. Robin Mcgraw definitely writes from the heart - sincere, straightforward . . . simple. Very easy reading, but it's not fluff. Insightful and meaningful messages.

This is a very impowering book for women of all ethnic, social, and economical background. Robin is very straight forward and inspiring.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It was recommended to me by my mother-in-law. I read hers' and then I purchased one for a friend. Robin has a way of drawing you into her life experiences and teaches how to behave and draw the man of your dreams to yourself. The she continues to share her experiences in marriage and how to be a loving and supportive wife making your husband feel important so he treats you the same way.

I love this book. Robin shares so many great stories about her life and what it is like to live with Dr. Phil. The price was excellent. I would recommend this for anyone who likes to know that there are still good people in the world.

I love the entire story line behind Robins life and how she has managed to continue a home, family, and a career and continue to hold it together. Great book. I definitely will recommend to all my friends and family.

The book gushed too much for my taste. But I do think Dr. Phil is terrific, and Robin is the force behind the man. As you read her book it is crystal clear that she rules the roost. It is very enlightening to see couples truly love each other and work together as a team. I do not think Robin's life can be compared to that of the ordinary woman however. Worth reading, and I truly wish that all married women had this kind of relationship with their spouse.

This book touched my soul by it's loving warmth, you could almost hear her voice as you turned the pages with a motherly explanation of how and why her choices worked for her and the simplicity of deciding that what you want is what you will have in terms of family, love, values and being a woman. It is a must read for every woman but it is an important read for those who feel that they are lost in motherhood and being a wife, that her own personality has been thrown to the side and that there is nothing left of herself and what got her that far. A beautiful book that takes you away from the rush and hectic life of everyday for the few hours it takes to read, wrap yourself in it and truly feel her strength and allow it to empower you.

I purchased this book after seeing Robin when she and Dr. Phil kicked off the book on the Dr. Phil show. He was as excited about the book as was Robin. I love the way he supported her and the fact that she is in his TV audience every day.

Inside My Heart is really easy to read...and the stories that Robin tells flow so easy and freely from Robin's heart to the printed page.

I could really identify with Robin while reading the book. I have been married for 46 years to a wonderful man. My daughters have not been as fortunate at finding a good man for a husband.

Having lost both of my parents, I could really identify with the feelings that Robin expressed after loosing her parents. And, it is ok to cry.

I really think that any woman, young or older, married or contemplating
marriage or just want more from their relationship. I wish that both my daughters could have read Inside My Heart before they choose a husband. Maybe they both would not have had their self esteem so badly injured. I am going to be sure they both have a copy of Inside My Heart.

I encourage all women to read Inside My Heart....I don't think they will ever be sorry.

I found this book to be an easy read. It tells about her personal journey through life and the choices she's made. Wonderful book, I would highly recomend to any woman out there of all ages...everyone can take a little something from this book.

I had seen in adverstized on Dr. Phil and since I like Robin I decided I wanted to read her book. I thought it was such a good story and well written.
