INSIDE THE ELECTRIC CIRCUS was W.A.S.P.'s 3rd full length release, produced back in 1986, and it fits in quite well with their first two releases, their self-titled debut and THE LAST COMMAND. In other words, if you like those first 2 releases, you'll very much enjoy INSIDE THE ELECTRIC CIRCUS. There was no "hit" track on this release and as such this Cd has been much overlooked by fans, and critics alike. But there are some real standouts on the Cd including "I Don't Need No Doctor," "95 Nasty," "Restless Gypsy," "Sweet Cheetah" & "The Rock Rolls On". The band on this one includes Steve Riley on drums, who would go on to join the L.A. Guns. Get the remastered version that includes 2 stellar bonus tracks including the raunchy blues tune "D.B. Blues"! Overall, a good 3rd release from these metal legends and I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

) When I first heard this album,I really was kinda disappointed.After the awesome first album and the just as good second album "The Last Command" this album seemed weak.I loved the songs "I Don't Need No Doctor" and "Restless Gypsy" but thought the rest where lacking.Over the years I have come to appreciate this album more.With other great songs like "Inside the Electric Circus",I'm Alive" ,and "The Rock Rolls On" it is worth giving a listen.To tell the truth,I would buy anything that Blackie and W.A.S.P. put out,and probably always will. I really like the song "Flesh and Fire" that is one of the bonus songs on this remastered version.
