Another great book about beetles and their elytra wings

This book is perhaps the best on the subject of beetles. There is a history of how Coleoptera Order has started to be described and systematized (from little more than half thousand 250 years ago to 350'000 known species nowadays!), and many other interesting and often amazing facts, hardly found in other books.
it is written in very easily understandable way, although very detailed, informative and scientific. can really feel fondness and love of authors themselves to the objects of this work - beetles, the creatures which constitute every fifth species on Earth ! in other words, if we would be able to line up all living organisms - then every 1 in 5 of them will be some or other beetle!
this is only one of such interesting facts given in this book, which immediately captures our attention while reading it. and there are many more unique rarely found info in there: like do you know what is the largest or the smallest beetle in the world? or do you know what is biophilia and why it is considered so important now?
there are many great photos too - stunningly amazing photos which would convince even sceptics that beetles are one of the most beautiful living beings!
I suggest that anyone interested in beetles should own a copy of this fantastic book! especially useful it might be for artists and all those who used beetles elytra for their crafts and decor.
