
USE PAYPAL IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM SELR

I won this CELL PHONE on July 5, 2007 and paid seller immediately the amount of $70.99 for this cell phone using PayPal. After 3 weeks I never got the item so I emailed seller providing him with my full name, address and phone number so he could notify me of any problems. He responded saying he just mailed it off and was sorry for the delay. I emailed back saying thank you and hoped to get it soon.
After another week it still didn't arrive so I emailed seller again asking for a tracking number so I could see what was the hold up. He never responded. I emailed him again and still no response. After reviewing PayPal rules decided not to wait anymore as it had already been a month and filed a claim with them.
After waiting the appropriate amount of time, PayPal advised me that they too had no response from seller so I was awarded my money back. That's fine but I did want the phone. I'm still puzzled as to why anyone would go to all the trouble of auctioning off a phone only to change their mind and not send it. What kind of business is that? I am also disappointed at the lack of courtesy on sellers part to not let me know what happened. I would have been willing to work something out. It will be interesting to see what his response to this feedback will be when even PayPal found him guilty of fraud. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!
