A Comprehensive Treatment Of A TRUE Story

I am always a bit concerned when Mr. Grisham strays from the 'lawyer tales' that built his reputation - but here he proves, once again, that he's GOOD at whatever subject he tackles.
'The Innocent Man' is drawn from an actual case in Oklahoma, of a man wrongly convicted of murder - and eventually freed by DNA evidence, after serving several years in prison. As you listen to the story, you come to realize how, given the right circumstances or coincidences, this nightmare could happen to ANY OF US.
The story gives us extensive background of the man wrongly accused, details of the trial, details of his prison experience, the battle by family members to gain his release, his efforts at recompense after his release, and more. A very good read/listen.
