A Pleasant Surprise

I bought this CD along with others in lot-form. I bought it mostly because "Karma" was a catchy single on the Mission Impossible 2 soundtrack. I was happy to hear that Karma was not the only good song on the CD, as sometimes is the case.
The CD features quick, catchy tunes, such as "35", "I Am", "Leaving With a California Tilt" and "I Don't Have the Nerve" which features an 80's Hair band bonus track at the end of the CD.
The CD also includes softer (although still rock laced) songs. These include, "Last Time I Saw Memphis", "Tell Her This", "Wide Eyes" and "Losers of the Year".
My favorite two songs on the CD are "Karma" and "Leaving With a California Tilt". My 2 songs to avoid, because of their over-clicheness, are, "Tidal" and "Last Time I Saw Memphis". I'm just not into ballads that much.
Finally, the CD has some adult language on "I Don't Have the Nerve" and the bonus track attached to it, but that shouldn't stop you from buying this CD.
I gave the CD 4 out of 5 because of it's softer songs and the increasingly obnoxious bonus track.
