Initial IDM-1731 7 in. Portable DVD Player

WE bought this item for our then 18 year old daughter for her 19th Birthday ( does that make any sense ) LOL and its been for us all a great product.. we have taken it camping, on road trips and its really nice to lay in bed and watch dvds with ear plugs and not wake up your mate. yes we like this product a lot. keeper

This is a great item to get away from the world with. I got mine on eBay used and well worn and it still works perfectly for about a third of the new price. I got it to take with me to the Hospital to watch while I get my all day treatments and have found many more occasions to use it. It is great to keep my two 3 year old grand kids entertained while driving. I never thought I would want one till I got it. My husband and I even sneak off with it to the back yard at night to watch a movie alone, we currently have both grandkids and there moms living with us, so it’s hard to get time alone. Makes for a great get away now I don't know what I will do with out it.
BUT when I do replace it I will go to eBay first and get a better deal than anywhere else. MAYAMOON

I had another unit exactly like it that lasted for years. I was able to get the same model, thus able to use all my old existing batteries, power cords, bag, and remotes. Great little unit

The quality of this product is so amazing. Road trips are now a blast. The best part about it is, you can take it everywhere like at home, the car, or even outdoors. It really keeps the kids busy and quiet too. Love it.

I absolutely LOVE this DVD player. It may not be the "top of the line" or anything but it has been the best one I have owed so far...goof enough that I am planning to by another one. My Mom owned one and it became mine since she never used it. Once I got it, it has been dropped countless times, thrown around by my 2 year old daughter, the battery pack snapped of it but still hold charge and works, just went pumped falls off but goes right back on. My daughter even dumped an ENTIRE small bottle of water on it to "clean it Mommy" and it STILL WORKS! I def recommend this player for anyone, esp those with kids because it has surpassed her Disney player even (which we have had to replace twice in less than 1 year already.

I liked the styling and the silver finish looked nice. However, the hinges were already falling off and the screen would not stay up. It was supposed to be a gift for some one but decided against it. It took so many tries to get it to read a disc. It does have a nice picture quality when it reads the dics, only when it wants to. Not very reliable and would not accept one even as a gift.I will spend a little more to get a name brand like Sony or Panasonic.

I bought this Inital 7" portable TV model IDM 1731 as second hand a few weeks ago, and I am impressed with the easily menu features available on this inexpensive portable TV. It has stereo sound and also has a headphone jack allowing hearing your favorite picture or CD with your own headphones.I'd recommended it if you're on a budget.

We needed the battery that was on this product and after we received it we found that it could be used as well as the battery.

Good lil DVD player for the price. Picture is bright and clear and for the first week seems to do all its claimed. Not a top of the line but the price is not their either.

loved it. Bought for trips on the airplane. Makes the time go by fast. And good for the drive around town and short trips.

It worked for a few minutes then stopped. It was used. I do have an identical one that has worked for years. I got a full refund.

I bought this dvd player for my niece, so she can watch movies while in the car. The dvd player seems to work well and came in a very nice case and with several accesories. The battery however does not seem to keep a charge for very long, so she is always having to charge it either in a wall outlet or in the power outlet in her mother's car. No complaints on my end though, at least not yet. She has only used it once or twice, so we dont really know yet.

The seller was very easy to deal with. Quick and responsve to the total process. It would be a pleasure to business again on another item. If all E-bayers were honest and this easy to deal with auctions would be more trusted.

The item was as stated and all parts were shipped at the same time.

The product was exactly as described on the bidding site. The product has been used and works well. I need to find out how to charge the battery by reading the enclosed paperwork. all items were included such as the case and paperwork. i was surprized that an unknown brand would work so well. i reviewed many new products and realized that this was a better comparative buy than new.

The seller let me know that this item is defective and wanted to know if I still wanted it and I told him no! As far as the seller is, I think they are very honest since they could have let me pay for it, and sent it anyway.

The thing i like is that it was a hard to find item. but found it on ebay right away. now i can enjoy viewing movies when i travel. thank god for ebay.

IT WORKS WELL. PIC IS CLEAR, SOUND IS GOOD. DON'T LIKE HOW IT CHARGES, DONT LIKE THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT WORKS TILL BATTERY DIES.

my family travels alot so we needed something for the kids plus we go camping all the time also its a good baby sitter when kids are complining about how bored they are itcompact i really enjoy it very much

no have a batery and control.Was not what thought.no liked the item.Think that was in better condition the product. it does not function as expected.
