A fun album that achieved some success--

Information Society's music is fun and upbeat, in a techno-dance kind of way. However, the beat never takes over the vocals of the song, so the result is a sound more like Depeche Mode (without as much depth musically or intellectually).
The band is really one of those one-hit wonders, with the song I want to "Know What You're Thinking (Pure Energy)" being the big tune of success. However, this is not the best song on the album. Other songs like "Walking Away From" are fun to listen to.
I equate this with one of those "guilty pleasures" experiences--fun and catchy, but with no real substance. Probably best added to a collection for purely nostalgic reasons.
