This is a thorough reference for someone interested in the benefits of an anti-inflammatory diet. It provides introductory info to food inflammatory factors and how foods we eat affect inflammation. There are highest to lowest inflammatory rankings which is very helpful when avoiding problem foods. The book gives guidelines on reducing inflammation in your body by providing recipes and meal plans for prevention/maintenance, therapeutic or reduced calorie diets. I purchased this book to improve my dog's health since being diagnosed with cancer. It has been an easy reference to use and I'm seeing marked improvement in my dog's health as a result. I'm also using the book to improve my own health. I recommend it as a valuable addition to any health nutrition library.
