Infinity Kappa Perfect6.1 Car Component System

These speakers are simply amazing. This is my fourth set of Infinity's and they are Great! Infinity's are famous for their clarity, but they also suffer from overly sharp tweeters...which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Infinity's crossovers for the speakers fix the problem by setting the tweeters to -4db. Crossover also offers a 0db adjustment and a +5db adjustment for the tweeter output. Also, they have less mid-bass, but that shouldn't be a problem for you if you are reading this cuz if u are spending this much on a pair of components, you prob already have sub woofers to fill in where these will drop off. You NEED an amp to power these speakers. The manual specifies to use at least 50watts rms per component. Otherwise you will kill the speakers and they will sound like crap. The speakers run 100 watts rms. Infinity speakers sound best on Infinity amps, unlike most components, so keep that in mind. Also, these speakers dont roll off at lower frequencies, so you will prob want a good eq so that you can turn them up louder with out haveing to worry about distorting the door woofers. You will NOT be dissapointed with these speakers. They kill their competition by far. Worth the money by far!
