Industry Reviews The second volume of a three-volume handbook for engineers involved in the design, manufacture, and application of industrial products, covering in extensive detail the various, mainly chemical products of major industrial use. Presented in alphabetical order, Volume 1 (unseen by Book News ) covers product design and application from abrasives through essential oils . Volume 2 continues with ethylene-propylene elastomers and proceeds through plastic fiberglass and platinum group metals . A forthcoming Volume 3 will cover the rest of the alphabet. Wherever possible, shortcut methods of calculations involving product design and applications are included, along with nomographic methods of solution. The contents of the handbook were originally published in Dekker's Encyclopedia of Chemical Processing and Design . Annotation copyright Book News, Inc. Portland, Or. Jamison
