this is one of the best movie series ever. can't wait for the new one in '08 i heard they're filming it now.

I bought this in the trilogy. Adventurous, Funny, And Suspenseful. Harrison Ford takes his acting skills to a new height in this, Temple of doom, and the Last Crusade. Once you start watching this Movie, you don't want to even think of taking a potty break!!

not every store carries movies that are 3 years old, especially boxed sets, because they take up alot of space on the shelves, so i was very happy when i was able to win the bidding on the auction, because that meant i didnt have to travel all over the place to find it, especially since it was a gift and thats what my daughter wanted.

I am so happy i bought this. Everyone wants to watch it again. My Buddy's, my family, and co-workers. We do the marithon, watching all. I can't wait for the next that's coming out maybe soon!

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. I have yet to open it but the exterior is in excellent condition.

It finally came. The Indiana Jones trilogy on DVD. Harrison Ford is perfect for his job of playing Indiana Jones. What a great trilogy! A classic! This has almost everything a person may look for in a film, action, humor, romance, and great actors and actresses including Sean Connery who comes in the third film.

The best thing about all of the Indiana Jones movies is the way they feel, the humanity that sits at the heart of each adventure. Not to mention the humour. Each of these movies is very, very funny (even though some critics would say that the humour is often at the expense of Nazi stooges [who are people] getting killed, maimed or tossed off of tall things, but hey).

The Indiana Jones Trilogy also boasts one other unique element - the production team above (with the exception of Kasdan) was kept pretty much intact through the whole series, and each movie has the same director. Because of this, I think that I will talk more about the series as a whole, as opposed to breaking it down into the specific component movies. I will make one more very specific mention: the second flick; Temple of Doom, is less children’s oriented than the other flicks, and has far more intense scenes, in particular, the dinner scene which features such gastronomical delights as snake surprise (a big snake filled with small snakes), beetles, and chilled monkey brains for dessert. This is despite the fact that one of the hinges of the story is Indy saving a whole mess of Indian children who have been imprisoned by the evil Thugee cult. This one thing effects the only jarring note of the whole series, so parents be warned.

I watched all three movies back to back, and one thing that struck me was Spielberg’s direction. Even in Pan and Scan format (and all three films were filmed in Panavision, so are horribly chopped up), you can see the fluidity and assuredness of Spielberg behind the camera. I was struck by the mobility of his camera, the moving angles, the utilization of point-of-view shots and some very interesting compositions that have marked Spielberg’s flicks in the past. Some would say that Spielberg simply employs camera tricks to keep the audience on the edge of their seats, and in the hands of a less talented craftsman, or in movies with poorer scripts or acting, these critiques may have validity, but not here. The direction draws you into the movie, and the techniques used only serve to better illustrate the adventures. One I remember vividly is in Last Crusade, where Indy has to make the ‘leap of faith’. After Indy steps on the stone bridge, the camera slides out just a little, showing the audience the cleverness of the trap involved, and letting us in on it.

It is, without a shadow of doubt one of the best cinematographics achievements of the 20th century.

Best ever, Indiana Jones its a video legacy. I wanted it in my collection because a collection sucks without it. It is a necessity. Some of the best movies ever. (Excluding The Temple of Doom - only okay)

I grew up with Indiana Jones, I'm sure I've seen the first one about 500 times. Besides all the adventure in the series, it is hilarious. I bought the set because my daughter has been talking about the new movie. I wanted her to see them all. I still believe the first one was the best out of the four.

Although these movies in the box set were made many years ago, parents and kids can enjoy watching these movies over and over by many generations. Some visual effects are cheesy (just because we have advanced so much over the years) but that also makes it enjoyable and humorous.

Love Indiana Jones movies. Had them on VHS and wanted to upgrade the collection to DVD.

I grew up with the Indiana Jones series and the action and fun of this series makes it a must have for any collection.

I bought this set for my Hubby. He's been telling the kids about these movies, so we got them for his birthday. He was very pleased with the set. It was a great buy.

Must own for any Jones fan. The original and the 3rd series are the best in my opinion. The 2nd series has its moments but the first and third movies are by far the best. Have not seen the 4th sequel but I hope it is closer to the original than the 2nd film.

All I can say for all 3 of these movies. Instant classics! I cant wait till crystal Skull comes out on dvd.

I like all Harrison Ford's movie's. His a good actor. In this movie's he has alot of action and some comedy part's.

Indiana Jones Is A Great Series... If you haven't seen any of them, you are depriving yourself of a great Entertaining Experience... It's an Action/Adventure type movie with some Comedy thrown in... Harrison Ford is a Great Actor and this character is one of his best... I'm not really sure what to say about the movies, I don't want to give it away for people who haven't seen any of them... Just trust me when I say they are Great Movies... I highly Suggest watching them...

Good movies, lots of action. Lots of bonus materials if your into it. Good quality movies, some of the top movies of all time.

Purchased as a gift for a 9 year old in April of 2008. With the upcoming new movie release he was eager to see the original movies. He was very thrilled with it. He also has become quite interested in Star Wars and Harrison Ford and George Lucas make for a nice segway into Indiana Jones. Product was new and sealed.
