If you thought the movie was good, and saw it at the theater. Just wait until you have seen it on Blu-Ray! OMG!!! it's better than the theater without a doubt. This movie does for Blu-Ray what Days of Thunder did for surround sound.

SO-SOGet it used here on eBay if you must. Cheesy '90s effects and a worn-out story line to boot. Definitely not worth the retail price and don’t bother renting it either. GREAT Seller though.

Independence DayGreat quality on the blu-ray version. Audio is flawless, and the picture qualiy is so detailed, it really helps to get you lost in the film. (which if you haven't seen by now, is a thrill a minute roller coster from beginning to end. Great family fun, and a great way to show off that HDTV!

This is my all time favorite movie!!!! This movie has a great story and lots of action, and the fact that they spent 71 million dollars making it shows how good the movie is. And the Blu-Ray quality is THE BEST QUALITY.

this movie kicks hienie in HD/surround/fast deliverythis movie is extremly popular where i live. ALL of the big box electronics stores sold out within a day or two. wal-mart didn't even have it.
it was very well priced, including shipping.
i searched for it on and off for a week.

Great Picture and sound. With the Blu-Ray DVD transfer its great watching it in HD. I the plot and acting are solid, but I really think having seen the regular dvd vs. the Blu-Ray there is no comparison. If you like the story you will love the Blu Ray version
