The Incredible Mr. Limpet (DVD, 2002)

Excellent family comedy. Good clean fun! One of the best movies I have seen. Don Knotts is definitely one of the best actors in my opinion there ever was. His movies are great and good clean hilariously funny mostly family orientated movies. I would highly recommend you take your kids or your date to see this one, or buy it. It is definetly a movie you will watch over and over again!

BEFORE Little Mermaid, there was The Incredible Mr. Limpet! I loved this movie...Don Knot at his funniest! This is a cross between real live people and animation. This originally aired at a time when an animation mixed movie was not that common. Mr. Limpet is like a male version of Little Mermaid, only instead of wanting to get out of the sea, Mr. Limpet wants to be IN the sea. Mr. Limpet also has a "crab" buddy who helps him adjust to his new environment. This is a MUST for your movie collection. It's really that fun to watch.

This is classic Don Knotts comedy...what more needs to be said! They just don't make movies of this caliber anymore. These movies need to be cherished, for the comedians of old are no more!

saw it when i was young and have always wanted my grandkids to see it and love it as much as i do. see it and you will love also.

I remember this movie as a kid and was so excited to see it on ebay! We sat with our sons and watched Don Knotts dream of being a fish! Our boys loved it. We even shared this classic with our neighbors and now they want to own it too!

wanted to find some old movies that I could sit and share with my children. Ones that I would enjoy and laugh with again and watch my children enjoy them for the first time.

Don Knotts is in my opinion one of the last great funny man. the movie was great, and the extras stuff in the movie about the other actors and where they premiered it was really cool. a great classic to add to any dvd collection.

The story of a man who dreams of being a fish adn one day gets his wish. He falls in the ocean one day and becomes a fish. The movie is half cartoon and half regular movie depending on if they are above or below water. Limpit becomes a officer in teh navy by helping the find german subs during WWII. It is a cute family movie and there is nothing inapproprate in it. Its funny, sweet, and a fun watch.

It was one of my "childhood" favorites. It's still a great movie!! It doesn't have violence or nudity like so many of the movies do today. It's an all around great family movie. But....be careful what you wish for, because wishes do come true!

I like about anything with Don Knotts in it, This paticular movie is a classic and I like that it was base on a war era and that although he fumbled as a human being, he got his wish and became a fish and as such he became a hero.

My family thought that this was a fun movie to watch. It's one the kids will really enjoy watching.

I always liked this movie since I was a kid. Its always been before my time and it didn't matter, its just a plain interesting good movie. Glad I found this deal here on ebay. Good for any age.

I remember this movie being on TV when I was a kid.It is a good clean family movie. My wife had never seen it and I bought it for nostaglia and so that she could relate when I spoke of it. I really like Don Knotts. This DVD is a re-release of a movie that had some real firsts. The bonus features and interviews are great-my wife says that they are more entertaining than the movie itself! Hope you enjoy.

Great Movie by one of the great funny men Don Knotts. It some animation in it when he turns into a barracuda. I bought it for my son who likes Don Knotts

Don Knotts is the funniest comedic actor ever and with the great cartoonism included in this with him, it is a hillarious classic I shall alawys love to watch over and over again!

I just love Don Notts. I bought this because my son saw this and had to have it. It cost so much in the store so I looked on ebay and there it was.

It's a funny movie in many respects, and I bought this because I remembered pieces of it from when I was a child. It's amazing how much has changed since 1963. They did a remarkable job of interacting cartoon characters with real people for that era in movie production.

What I didn't realize then was how much they were pushing support for war. The underlying message was "If you're not in the military, you're nobody." It wasn't pushy, but that's definitely the tone throughout the movie. Just thought I'd mention that since there are more and more people who aren't of that mindset.

Absolutely classic movie. Don Knotts is an incredible actor! A movie for the whole family. A must watch movie for all ages.
