The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (Xbox, 2005)

I remember watching the Hulk on TV as a kid, back when he was just a tiny little body-builder name Lou who had been painted green. I think he's eaten a little beef since then because now they need giant robots to take the mean green Behemoth down.

Bruce Banner's quest for the cure is interrupted and the machine that gave him hope to be free of the Hulk's curse was destroyed. But not before creating a new menace to the world at large. Now, not only does the Hulk have to fight the police, the army, certain private corporations and the Demon Hulk threatening to destroy Bruce Banner's psyche forever, he has to take on the Abomination.

As you begin the game you can wander freely around the city trying out many of the mini-missions which are ways for you to earn points. Some will have you destroy as many cars as you can in 30 seconds while others make you leap to the rooftops to save as many people as you can from the towering inferno of an apartment fire.

The more points you have, the more things you can smash because that's how you buy new and more powerful moves for the Hulk. Things like the Critical Atomic Slam and the ability to rip a car in half and make your self a set of Steel Fists are what really make this game great.

The best move in the entire game, is when you pick up one of the "puny humans" around you, you can set them back down and then pat them on the head. Yes, the Hulk even has something for those soft at heart. (For the rest of you, you can then turn around and smash them with a car - it's up to you really.)

Along the way the Story Missions will let you advance to further levels, different locations and more trouble. The longer you play in this game, the harder it is to stay hidden because everyone is looking for you. Strike teams will be mobilized if you cause too much trouble in the city, but really, that's what the Hulk is all about. "Ultimate Destruction."

Most of what I spent doing in this game was going around breaking things, so that these teams WOULD show up. It's a great way of building points for new moves to do it all over again.

Keep an eye out for Hint markers and "Comic Books" which will help you unlock tips, tricks and even some cheat codes.. (they're kinda weird) but hey, I can give the Hulk Canadian Flag shorts now. It works.

After you beat the game, you have the option to keep destroying more things and if you can get 1,000,000 points you can buy the "Savage Banner" mode. This will let you run around as a puny human Bruce Banner, with all of Hulks destructive power.

Rampage through the city as a tiny little man, beating the bejeezus out of giant robots. It's a thrill, I tell ya.

So, if you're looking for a game to spend hours running around in free roam environment, wrecking cities and tossing tanks into the ocean, pick this one up.

It's the Ultimate.

I freakin love this game period! I bought this a while back and I am still playing it. I bought all the specials moves and beat the story mode, but I find myself going back for more Destruction.(plus to collect all the comics!) If you love the Hulk or just like smashing things, this is your game. There are tons of items to find, moves to purchase and mini games to complete. This is a must have for any gamer!!

This game is a lot of fun, and it is the type of game that continues to get better as you play. You can unlock more advanced and powerful moves as you gain more points, and you get more points by destroying more stuff. That in itself is just fun to do. The graphics aren't amazing, but the fact that the Hulk is made to be extremely powerful (and can destroy almost anything) and that you get to free-roam around a large city or a desert army base and do whatever you want and destroy whatever you want makes this game a lot of fun for hours and hours.

Still is one of my favorite games. Great for when you're stressed too. Nothing puts me in a better mood than smashing virtually everything that I come encounter with in this game

My grandson has an xbox and wanted the Incredible Hulk game to play.I spent quite some time looking for the best deal on ebay and other places.I ffinally found what i was looking for and i haven't regretted it.The game was new and at a reasonable price and works perfectly.My grandson is happy which makes me happy.I will definately continue to buy from sellers on ebay.

before you think that the Hulk is just a brute who hits with his fists, you have to check out this game! the level of destruction is unbelievable and addictive. the hulk has so many moves, you'd think you were playing Street Fighter.

THis game is action packed, fun to play, nothing to complain about any one who buys this will just love it. Works on XBOX, XBOX 360,PS2,WII, and GAMECUBE.

This game my 5 years old child wants this Christmas... If you like Hulk you will love it...

hulk is all over the place and you got a front row ticket. there is nothing that stops the this gamma giant (not even the abomination). it definatley left me wanting more action, but at the same time gave me an understanding of banner and his neverending search to cure himself of his alter ego. this is definatley a game worth checking out.

The Incredible Hulk is one of my favorite Marvel comics characters so I just had to get this game. I absolutely love it. It was in great condition of course since it was still in its factory packaging.

I liked the price and the fast shipment. I would do business with seller again. The only thing that I didn't like too much was that the game has a few sratches but it does play like new.

Yes, this is a comic book game, but unlike so many others -- this one is quite enjoyable! The methods of destruction available are quite cool! ;)

Great for a short amount of playing time, but gets old after awhile. Still I find the kids playing this one just to go around smashing things. The controls are excellent and the graphics decent for the original xbox. Deserves a xbox 360 upgrade.

This game is not appropriate for many kids, especially younger ones, as the main point of the game is to destroy cities, people, etc. I find the game to be rather boring and repetitive after a few hours. The graphics are pretty good, though and there are plenty of we'll placed sound effects.

The game is great for venting one's spleen on the travails of the modern world. The seller had the game delivered within a week, which is not bad in the ebay dealings in which I have had.

I ENJOYED THE EASE OF USE AND THE ACCOUNTABILITY OF THE WHOLE CONCEPT. IT WAS EASY TO FIND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND EASY TO BID AND AND TO RECIEVE THE ITEM. THE SELLER WAS GREAT AND PROMPT.

Dont get it for small kids because you spend time beating up cops and stuff, but if the child is old enough to understand the concepts of reality verses fiction, and doesn't stomp around after the cat or something after playing it, then go for it, I guess.

It's a very satisfying bone crushing experience, and really amazing... for about 2 - 3 hours.. by then you've either embraced the repetitive yet seemingly boundless game area, and/or are enthralled with eh concept of buying new powers with points gained from bashing people, cars, and tanks...

Or.. you're in a coma.. whining that the game is too repetitive and doesn't "go" anywhere.

Dude.. the hulk rips a car in-half and uses each half like a glove for punching out pedestrians that scream and stuff while you leap off of skyscrapers with then in yer hands.. If that's not for you now.. it never will be.

Here's the deal, if you stick with the storyline, you're gonna' feel like it's too short a game. If you do a lot of just beatin-the-heck-outta'-people for no reason or bus surfing, it seems to go on forever.. and indeed.. when you've gotten some of the stronger hulk powers, the free-range thing is easy to master.

There's also a lot of sub-games in there, and cheat codes that you're occassionally rewarded with which will give you hours upon hours of entertainment, UNLESS you have an issue with the repetitive nature of the game. Personally? This is one of my favorites... it's VERY relaxing after a tough day at work.
