The Incredible Hulk (DVD, 2008, Full Frame)

While most film remakes tend to be predictable, this film was a surprising breath of fresh "Movie Air". Wow. Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner was extremely impressive and teaches us that artistic creation does matter.

I wouldn't have missed this at all in theaters, however, I might have had something going on at that present time that caused me to miss the initial introduction in theaters. After over a year after its release, I finally caught this on video. Thanks to the wondrous world of Ebay, I finally caught this last evening.

While more than over the top, we find our buddy that we always loved Lou Ferrigno in a small part as a security guard. The U.K. Born Tim Roth is totally awesome in his role. We get to hulks for the price of one in this film.
Little do we know until the very end that Stark Industries, Inc., our old buddy Tony Stark is going to show up and get involved, yet during the first 4 minutes of the beginning, we almost figure all this out because the headlines and information flashes telling us of Stark's involvement. Perhaps this may be pointing us toward a second movie involving Ironman as well. Let be hopeful

Amazing graphics was only the icing on the cake. The screenplay didn't waste any time at all in telling us through the 4 minute screen credits what had actually occurred with our main character becoming mutated by gamma rays. I'll have to hand it to the production and design team and wonderful acting on the part of Liv Tyler, William Hurt, Ed Norton, and the rest to present this film in an absorbing rendition of the most incredible story in comics.

5/5 for genius.

A great action movie, from the begining to the end......when you though you have seeen "THE HOOD"....you'll see the real "HOOD" in Brasil ...ohhhh yeeaaahhh....

Anyone whose a fan of Stan Lee's comics (Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man to name a few) will not be disappointed with this latest movie in the Hulk saga.

This episode has more action and less of the plodding plot development of the first episode.

From the very beginning to the very end I was completely mesmerized, at times jumping up and down yelling "Get 'em Hulk!"

You will not be disappointed.

the whole family loved the movie especially the kids now my son thinks he is the hulk when he gets angry at his sister.

I am a comic book collector and have been for close to 30 years. So I am inclined to like anything that has a comic like background. I thought this movie, and Ed Norton, did a great job of holding to the Hulk story line. I think this movie is MUCH better than the 1st movie. There are plenty of Hulk battles in this one, and not so much character set up. Action packed, it does follow the same plot line as Iron Man in that Disgruntled Scientist becomes Superhero, and then is forced to fight an equal but evil baddy. Iron Man fought the Bad robot Hulk fights a Bad Hulk. Would have been cool to try another type of Villian, I hope for better in the future. Recommended.

I got this movie fast, and it was in great shape. Just as exciting as it was in the theater. Edward Norton was a better Banner than Eric Bana. I especially liked the cameos of Lou Ferrigno (spelling?) and Stan Lee.

This is a GREAT DVD that is a must add to any Super Hero Collection. Edward Norton is great, as always, and he really portrays Bruce/Hulk very well.

This is just another MARVELLOUS (get it?) movie that, together with Ironman, could be the one of the greatest action movies of 2008 in every sense. Incredible scenes, very well produced. Basically, the story is about a guy (Bruce, played by Edward Norton) who have suffered a kind of genetic mutation due to a frustrated experience with gamma radiation and is striving to keep himself away from being angry, otherwise he can turn into a diabolic monster who crashes everything and everyone on his way, except his longtime lover (Betsy, played by Liv Tyler).

The end of the movie strongly suggests that there will be a sequel soon to be seen, possibly for the next year. Let's wait and see.

Im not really into superhero movies too much but this DVD is EXCELLENT! I had heard alot of great things about this movie so when I rented it to see for myself & I LOVE IT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE! I love everything about this movie, the acting is is done so well & makes it believable!

This movie was one of the best of Summer 2008. Unfortunately it got overshadowed by the likes of Iron Man and of course the Dark Knight! But this movie was great in its own right, and if you ask me it was better than Iron Man. It was a super powered adrenaline rush. After, heck even during the movie you just want to go do your own version of a 'HULK SMASH' because it gets you so pumped. This movie was so much better than the first one that it makes you forget that the first one was even made. I highly recommend purchasing this movie. It was Awesome!
