The Incredible Hulk (Blu-ray Disc, 2008)

While most film remakes tend to be predictable, this film was a surprising breath of fresh "Movie Air". Wow. Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner was extremely impressive and teaches us that artistic creation does matter.

I wouldn't have missed this at all in theaters, however, I might have had something going on at that present time that caused me to miss the initial introduction in theaters. After over a year after its release, I finally caught this on video. Thanks to the wondrous world of Ebay, I finally caught this last evening.

While more than over the top, we find our buddy that we always loved Lou Ferrigno in a small part as a security guard. The U.K. Born Tim Roth is totally awesome in his role. We get to hulks for the price of one in this film.
Little do we know until the very end that Stark Industries, Inc., our old buddy Tony Stark is going to show up and get involved, yet during the first 4 minutes of the beginning, we almost figure all this out because the headlines and information flashes telling us of Stark's involvement. Perhaps this may be pointing us toward a second movie involving Ironman as well. Let be hopeful

Amazing graphics was only the icing on the cake. The screenplay didn't waste any time at all in telling us through the 4 minute screen credits what had actually occurred with our main character becoming mutated by gamma rays. I'll have to hand it to the production and design team and wonderful acting on the part of Liv Tyler, William Hurt, Ed Norton, and the rest to present this film in an absorbing rendition of the most incredible story in comics.

5/5 for genius.

It's hard to ignore the fantastic CGI and roaring cacophony of explosions but as a movie and plot goes... the villain was cliche, predictable and it seemed he was too powerful even for the Incredible Hulk yet died out rather quickly in their climax battle. Bits of the story have dead ends and more than a few scenes seem completely unnecessary. It appears Marvel decided to put money into a remix that would be more popular, rather than accurate and fan pleasing. Still worth getting the wows from realistic action sequences like the 2008 Indiana Jones flop though. I much prefer the first make.

A far better version of the Hulk than the Eric Bana version. Visually excellent, and a great story. If you didn't like the prior Hulk movie, you should really like this one better. If you liked the prior version, you should love this one. If you're a fan of the Hulk or the comic book genre, this is a must see. If you like special fx, it's a must see also.

Having watched a lot of blu-rays i can easily say this movie was amazing.
DTS-HD Master was awesome.If you have subwoofers,Watch out.

The detail in the movie was breathtaking. They obviously put some money in this one and it shows.
If your a fan of HULK it`s a must . If your not you will be after the movie.
I love the ending.

I was actually a bit disappointed in this film. The reviews were so promising, but instead we get an average comic book movie hero that desperately needed to restore faith in its franchise after Ang Lee's uber-fail.

CGI was sub-par, more cartoony than believable. Ed Norton is a great actor, but not in this genre unfortunately. Tim Roth's character lacked depth and had tons of potential but instead got rushed for the "climactic battle" which was decent to so the best.

Not much action, probably won't watch again. 6.5 overall = RENTAL

If you've seen the first Hulk movie and were left with a zzz..zzzz.. zzz. zzz.. then this one is a lot more action oriented and story-wise a lot more intriguing. In the park scene with Hulk vs the Army, it was obvious that some scene looked really computer generated and didn't quite match up with 'live action' but other than that, the Thunderous rain scene was one of the best CGI ever made in any movies to date.

I love the that this Hulk is soooo much better than the other one! Better story line and the special effects are awesome.

This movie is fantastic! Forget about "Hulk" that came out in 2004 or whenever it was. That movie was horrible.

This is a good movie but once again it doesn't get anywhere and ends up where we started, Bruce Banner on the run. It's not like we want a cure for the HULK but we want him to serve a purpose other then getting angry and looking for a cure all the time. The effects are amazing and look great on Blu Ray.

The Fight scene Hulk vs Abomination are awesome!!!and of course the Blu ray special Edition are great.

So Ill skip the countless words of praise I would have for this excellent comic book move and just tell you that its a whole new experience on blu-ray.

The action is 10x as intense and the sound is just as as superb. Its like watching it for the first time all over again! The details in the CGI really pop, you can even see the Hulks stubble and mole!

You cant go wrong with this movie!

I love the movie on blu-ray kick ass visuals, and the sound blew me away, the only thing that bug me a tiny bit was the helicopter crash mid way into the movie. The CGI of the copter did not look so great but the rest of the movie was excellent.

Why you bought it: Recently purchased PS3 with Blu Ray. Purchased this item due to enjoying having an updated version of film that I enjoyed from the tv show. Overall, this film was one of the better version that had been previously released, with a better cast.

I've seen the movie before, its an awsome movie, more than that the sound in the movie is jst GREAT!(DTS HD 5.1) I was really amazed by the sound. All you mates who r into hometheater system. dis movie will not dissapoint you,the sound is jst GREAT. The main reason i bought this movie is because of the sound.

I Love Marvel characters even though the hulk is not one of my Favorites still a cool Flick. I like the Ang Lee version Better than this one. It's still worth watching though.

Looks awesome on Blu Ray! And a much better plot then the Hulk movie released in the earlier 2000's.

This is not a sequel but a retelling of the movie - lacked the power punch but enjoyed the movie nevertheless!

Cant wait for the next one!
