Incident at Oglala - The Leonard Peltier Story (DVD, 2004)

Excellent documentary on the plight of the Oglala Sioux and the doubt remaining concerning the guilt of Leonard Peltier in the death of two FBI agents killed during the American Indian movement (AIM) of the 1970's. Who fired the execution type shots at close range? Because only that individual is guilty of murder. The other shots fired could be justified as self-defense. Very interesting.

This is a documentary that really must be seen by as many people as possible. It's very well made and certainly shows the atmosphere surrounding the prosecution that ended in Leonard Pelletier being incarcerated (he still is in prison) even though the evidence against him is not only flimsy, but much of it not true. Makes many fiction movies look dull in comparison.

There is nothing to dislike about his story, The truth will always come out in true history of his story, this story is so remarkable we really enjoyed this, story. You can't help but love this story, we love it, that is why we decided to buy his story, it is so terrific we have to watch it over and over again! LOVE,LOVE, IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a factual based incident in american history that will be forgotten and has been forgotten by many. As a native american , we cannot afford to forget. The people that this incident afflicted is staggering.

This movie was exellent the turn around time to recive it was also great would do bussiness again with these people as a member of AIM its a good movie to own

Robert Redford is a great actor. Unfortunately he is a poor detective. Repeating a lie does not make truth.

There is no conspiracy to deprive Peltier justice. He belongs in prison.

Like the media today in it's depiction of Iraq.....
Newspapers used to be the first draft of history.
Now they are simply scoreboards for terrorists.

Don't waste your time on this movie.

Being from western South Dakota, I was well aware of the AIM movement and everything involved even though I was quite young at the time. So, I'm very interested in hearing other opinions on the matter.

This is a great documentary that shows both sides of this horrible incident. I have watched it several times to absorb all of the details. After watching it I was able to form my own opinion which is that Leonard Peltier should be freed to go back to the reservation as a form of good will from the US government toward Native Americans. I feel Leonard Peltier can contribute more to society on the outside than the inside of the prison not to mention it would save the taxpayers money and free up a cell for a real criminal.

This place is great ,everything ship fast.the sell nothing but quality .I wish every seller was like them.

I bought this since I am a Jackson Browne fan and I know he contributed to the
music in this movie. I am also interested in seeing the story. There was a delay in receiving the movie, but it did arrive in tact, sealed and in good condition. The seller had good communication all along but never left me feedback which I wasn't pleased about. I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but am glad to own this movie. It is difficult to find some titles in the stores now depending on the year of release.
