In Your Honor by Foo Fighters (CD, Jun-2005, 2 Discs, RCA Records USA)

I purchased this album because I had always liked the Foo Fighters, but had not purchased an album since their There's Nothing Left to Lose CD which was OK, but nothing like The Color and the Shape. I had heard a couple songs off In Your Honor and decided I had to have it. This CD is absolutely amazing. I don't think there is a bad song on either CD. The Acoustic is a little soft, but as far as an acoustic CD goes you can't get any better especially with guest appearances from Norah Jones and John Paul Jones. CD 1 is definately the best album I have heard in a long time. It rocks from start to finish with outstanding guitar, drums, and lyrics. If there is one Foo Fighters album you need to buy it is this one. I bought it in the store for around $17 a year ago. So anything under $12 on ebay is a good deal. You won't be disappointed with this album...Get IT!

This is their BEST work yet! The rock disk is so powerful and the aucoustic disk is so soft and beautiful. I have been a fan since 1995, and this is my far my favorite!!

Great Music. The best things about Foo Fighters: They play with such intense ENERGY - Just listening to their music is energizing. Dave Grohl's voice is without a doubt one of the best in the Alt-Rock-Grunge genre. Their music is original. Face it; in the world of music you can categorize groups as those who copy others and those who are copied. They have developed a sound that has a razor hard edge - yet it has a strong melodic component held together by Dave Grohl's voice. And one last positive about this group's music; they are not afraid to offer real variety, offering great acoustic melodies along with the kick-ass stuff. Foo Fighters, In Your Honor, It's good.

My husband loves Foo Fighters & so I decided to purchase this along with other cd's in his Christmas stocking. Great music!

you would think that a CD would come as shown but this is not always so. This cd was as shown and described and shipped quickly...what everyone wants when they buy ion ebay. And if you are wanting to add to you Foo Fighters collection this is good one to buy.

I like how the music goes from soft rock to headbagger. It is nice to have a CD with different styles of music on it. I just like the foo fighters and the price was great.

Overall, I loved the the music on the Cd's. What I didn't like about it was the fact that I can't listen to them at work! Since they are copy protected you can only listen to them on a CD player. I do not have a CD player at work, I download CD's on my computer and listen to them while I work. You can't do that with this set of CDs. That's what I HATED. So pretty much, I WASTED MY MONEY on this set of CDs since I never get to listen to them.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he loved it. It arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

This is a two cd set, first disc is rockin' and the second is mellow. I was lucky enough to catch them on this tour. After seeing them live I fell in love with this album. My favorite is the opening titled In Your Honor. Dave's voice is so powerful now. I would say Dave Grohl is my generation's Paul McCartney, but better. This is another amazing release from an amazing band.

I am not one to get thrilled at the new music (anything after the 1980's). However, this one has it all. Great music, wonderful lyrics (even if some are dark), and tremendous variety. This last extends beyond the fact that one disc reflects their usual Tour de Force, the other a more accousticly pleasant experience. The boys even experiment within the broader genres to give us tunes reminiscent of Astrud, Donovan and 60's folk rock. Worth checking out!
