The Immortal Highlander by Karen Marie Moning (2005, Paperback, Reprint)

I've read, and own, every one of Moning's books, and can't wait for the next one, but this is my favorite. I'm sorry that Adam Black won't be around to make his mischief in Moning's future books. He was quite a character. But this is the love story to end all love stories. Being Fae he's everything Gabby's heard about him. He's arrogant,lethally sexy and downright dangerous. But he's also charming, funny and terribly romantic and won't give her a minutes peace. They have their fun and their frights as they flee the evil unseelie hunters. They do get help from some Druid friends you might remember from previous books. But in the end, with the help of the Fairy Queen, Adam wins his lady love and they do live happily ever after.

ok, i don't have the book for this one on hand, so i can't give a summary,
however, this is adams book you know him as he has appeared in a small way in most of the highlander books.

and he did a good deed and his queen is mad at him, so she pretends to punish him by making him mortal and invisible. but he can be seen by gabby.

i think this book and the spell have the SLOWEST STARTS of the series and can drive a person crazy................

but again once they get going,,,,,,,,, and the characters figure out what they have to do and actually get to their destination . then all is good,

This book was set up at the end of another book and I looked everywhere for, finally finding it here. The main character is in several other books, the last segway-ing into this one, which follows him through his punishment for deeds done in previous story lines. It turns out to be good for him, because he learns the value of humbleness and humility. And he learns how to love and feel emotions.
