Imagine by Jeanette R. Lynton (2008, Hardcover, Spiral)

I bought Imagine after looking at a friend's and I already had Cherish and liked it. It's a great tool for the beginner scrapper or those who feel they "aren't creative" and very useful for the experienced scrapper who's looking for a little different look or technique or just needs a jumping off place to let their own creativity run. Although all the layouts are double-page spreads, I have used them for single page layouts as well. I like the quick references for the layouts: the table of contents tells you how many photos the layout is designed for and the quick reference pages show the basic layout design (page map). The design pages show their version of the layout, cutting guides and what type of paper to use. Most of them also have a sidebar that shows a fun little technique used in the layout...some are old but some are new and different...there should be something for everyone. Drawbacks? A little pricy. Haphazard organization...I would have preferred grouping the layouts by the # of photos used in order to make decision making easier when choosing a layout. All layouts are 12x12 so if you scrap any other size, you may consider that a drawback.
