Imagine by Eva Cassidy (CD, Aug-2002, Blix Street Records)

Eva Cassidy had perhaps the purest voice of any contemporary singer. It is unfortunate that she died before she had an opportunity to become famous. The CDs of Imagine and Songbird are my favorite.

I love all her songs. Eva Cassidy was one of the greatest singers ever! Her singing style gives so much impression to any one who listens. Although most of the songs she sang are re-makes, she gives justice to every song. I love her!

theres little that you could dislike with this cd. this woman has a great voice. i have yet to hear a song that i havent liked by her. i am a huge music fan and i am impressed with this artist..

Eva takes you from a smoking rendition of "Fever" to Gordon Lightfoots "Early Morning Rain" and then swings back to the country classic "Tennessee Waltz" and a version of "Danny Boy" that will bring a tear to the eyes. With the ability to change genres and perform each one flawlessly as though that is the only type of music she has ever done, Eva will once again astound and amaze. This CD is sure to please

Heard her being played at a shop in Boston a few months/weeks ago; went out and got some CDs immediately. What a voice and great renditions of old favorites.
