Illusions by Richard Bach (1994, Paperback, Reissue)

I bought this book for a friend of mine at his request. I decided to read it before I gave it to him. This was a great book that I couldn't put down. This book has such great philosophical wisdom, and has helped think more positively about life in general.

Have read this book several times. Bought this one to give away as a gift. I enjoyed it and was transformed by it at the same time. Enjoy!!

I bought this book because the one in my back pocket is coming apart! No one should ever be without insight like this! Each of us has experiences we relate to. I love flying and I realy relate to this type of spiritual soposition. Everything you ever thought you knew is right! Or maybe not! So how do you know? READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!

interesting concept..two men...a man who is reluctant to teach and a man who doesn't know he wants to learn..

This book was short and sweet,easy to read will make think a bit differently about God and who we are and why we are here.

I bought this book back around 1986 at the advice to 2 friends who read it. This was the first book of this type I had read. I guess it could be classified as spiritual and fiction. I really enjoyed the story and found the philosophy/ideology to be intriguing at time, thought provoking at others and informative at times. Did I believe in the philosophy behind the story? Yes and No. Not all the time. But have you ever read a spiritual book where you finish it, put it down and say “Wow! I fully believe and agree with everything in this book! My life is now complete!”. No, or at least not if you did not write the book yourself.

The book started me on a read though several of Richard Bach’s books, and most were enjoyable as well, though they are the subjects of other reviews, huh?

If you just want a short, fun and thought provoking read I say give it a try.

Originally given to me as a gift. I have read it and reread it many times. Never gets old. A Favorite!

I have heard about that book for years now and decided to buy it from Ebays best seller.

I enjoyed this book. I like reading spiritual and metaphysical books. Books that are based on TRUTH. I found some different levels of truth in this book (there are many levels to this idea, different dimensions).

Thought it was thought provoking that the author stated he didn't want to write any more books, but had to put this one out.

Didn't put it down, not so much that I couldn't, but didn't.

If you have an open mind that may enjoy some more expansion in the imaginary possibilities of reality; I would firmly recommend this book to you.

Very good book to read...got a different angle on how things may be.Not an everyday look at life and the possability of powers of the brain and it being used in real life.Mind over matter type ideas...but it could be wrong...lol...Great mind stimuli!!!

This is an excellent little book. It's a quick read and has a great story. It's about a messiah who decides to escape the messiah life preaching and being followed by crowds, as told by a person he befriends and teaches.

The great thing about this book though is the philosophical insights it brings up. The basic philosophy is that things are the way you believe them to be. As it would be applied to real life is exaggerate for the story (example: walking on water is possible if you believe it is) but the basic principal is good. You are good at what you believe you are good at; you are happy if you believe you are happy, ect. I would recommend this book to anyone.
