It's my favorite album, I lost an old copy. Getting this 10th annivesary one was important because the 2 bonus songs on the 2nd disc are classics. Nas is my favorite artist and this album is one that really stands the test of time. Every rapper should aspire to make an album that has this much quality and depth.

) I had the first Illmatic (original) that was stolen so I bought this one again instead. First disc is like the original and the secong disc is remixes and two new song. This was some of Nas's best work. Raw, real true to hood raps and beats. Gets no better.
