I bought this DVD after viewing the Live at the Greek Theater DVD and loved it.
This DVD gives insight to the personalities of Carlos, David, Sebastien, and my favorite, URS. Sound is fantastic. The music videos are wonderful to watch, the Spanish setting is breathtaking. Simon's search for the best singers and preparation for their first CD Nella Fantasia, and the comments from the four men capture any Il Divo fans'interest...Highly recommend it! and "Live at the Greek."

The music & vocal quality is excellent in this DVD, unlike the Live at the Greek DVD which has poor vocal and soundtrack recording. The Encore DVD also has two great music videos; Mama and Unbreak my heart. Live at the Greek has a music video with Toni Braxton, which is more eye candy than quality video making. Now, to me, you don't need to add another singer to Il Divo, they perform better just as they are. Encore is much more serious and passionate, Live at the Greek is more like a laid-back party.

I may be behind the rest of the world in discovering Il Divo, but I'm no less enthusiastic for that. This DVD, which came out around the time of their second CD, "Ancora," features five songs from a live performance in Spain in 2005, and an hour-long documentary on the origins of the group and its members. The interviews are delightful, especially from the later perspective of now (2009) when we know the group has gone from strength to strength and to monumental international success. Their genuine surprise and delight at the public response to their music is very endearing. They come across not only as superlative artists, but as charming and unspoiled professionals. Long may they continue!

When I received the DVD there were no ordinary hard cover DVD box. It was in a thick nylon cover. I was expecting a hardcover, but I think it is because to have a cheaper mailing cost.

This was bought for my mother and she has not stopped thanking me for getting it for her. She really loves their music and was very pleased to get this item. I was happy to see my mother with a smile on her face, great gift for the right person, Thanks!!
