Igenetics by Peter J. Russell (2005, Hardcover)

I never received the book. My credit card was charged and never refunded. I have tried to file a claim over and over and am unable to. I would like some guidance and a response in order to file a claim and get my money back.

This was a skam. I never recieved the book I ordered. Beware of this seller it was a fraud. I am still out the money I paid for.

i like how the text has mini summaries at the end of each section (2-4 sentences). the diagrams show info clearly, although i wish sometimes they would give more detail. however, this text does well at limiting what it covers on such an in-depth topic.

Loved the fast service even from over seas. Always concerned with me with the shipping and how fast I could get it. Loved working with her and I would definitely work again and recommend her to everyone.

This book is same as original with the difference of price. I decide to buy it because the price was less than original in the library. I recommended it 100%. Thanks

The book was highligthed all over the pages with written notes. Seller said it was in good condition with minimal highlighting. It was not in promised condition. It was hard to study because I couldn't highlight any important information to me since the seller highlighted everything.

The book is easy to read. It has a lot of helpful diagrams and explains everything in an understandable way. I would reccomend the book to anyone for an informative educational device that is useful in and out of the classroom.

The book is a soft cover book which made it super easy to carry around on campus. it came brand new and at a decent speed. it was packaged well as so to preserve the book- thanks

The book is good, except it is the international edition that comes in a soft cover. It was not advertised as that, and I didn't realize I was buying that version.

This textbook is very poorly written. It talks and talks in circles, and manages to make the simplest details convoluted. And it doesn't define anything. For example, it talks about genetic and molecular markers in chapter 10, but it doesn't actually define these terms until chapter 14. WTF is about all that goes through my head when I read this. For a better textbook on molecular genetics, read Molecular Cell Biology by Lodish.

Must have background knowledge on Genetics prior to picking up this book. Organized in a fashion that it spends less time on providing the knowledge base and spends the majority of the time going into details of past scientific experiments that provide the basis or the support for the current genetics therories. I bought this book for a Genetics course and early on in the course because of the majority of the students had so much criticism, we rarely used it.

Had to buy it because required for class. Still several mistakes in book. I see how publishers make alot of money...by fixing some mistakes from the first edition but leaving room to work on a third. Thats B.S.; conceptually "Buyer Beware" was out a hundred years ago.
Consumer advice; the field of genetics is a fastly developing field but most of its tech is stolen from microbiology, thus the content of these books is not going to change significantly from one edition to the next. When they say alot of advances happen everyday they mean papers are being published which 99% are beyond the scope of undergraduate texts anyway.
So buy an older edition, save a butt load of money, and just bring the text to class and update notes of text content location. Study group will help too and than youll have access to a buddy's new edition which someone is always suckered in to buying.

The book was brandnew. It arrived quickly and undamaged. The book in an internation edition, which was something I had never bought before, but for the price it was definitely worth trying. I would buy from this seller again.
