My son has now decided that this is his favorite book! He is now 19 months old, and is starting to enjoy listening to stories, and looking at the pictures. This story has a story line that we both enjoy, and the illustrations are great! It doesn't seem to matter that this book has a Christmas theme, and we are still in September! He loves it & that is all that matters.

) I love all of these Laura Joffe Numeroff books. She clearly depicts cause and effect. The illustrations are so much fun. The children are good listeners, since the language is precise. I have also shared these books with other teachers, who also enjoy reading them to their students.

AN AMUSING AND ENJOYALE BOOK FOR CHILDRENTHIS IS ONE OF THE CUTEST AND MOST ENJOYABLE BOOKS I HAVE READ WITH MY GRANDCHILD. HE'S LEARNING TO READ, AND SO THAT HE WON'T GET BORED OR DISTRACTED I TRY TO FIND BOOKS THAT KEEP HIM LAUGHING AND LEARNING FROM. WE READ MS. NUMEROFF'S BOOK "IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE" AND THAT STARTED OUR INTEREST IN THE CHARACTERS THAT SHE WRITES ABOUT. I PURCHASED THIS BOOK AND THE REST OF THEM AND WE ENJOY THEM ALL. HE IS IN KINDERGARDEN AND ALREADY IS PROBABLY ON A SECOND GRADE LEVEL IN READING. THANK YOU
