If You Give a Pig a Party by Laura Joffe Numeroff (2005, Hardcover)

This is a great book that my daughter loves to read over and over. It is part of a series of books. The illustrations are great and easy for little ones of all ages to enjoy. The writer and illustrator were perfectly matched in combining story and visuals together.

This book series is creative and shows cause/effect relationships to children in a great way. The animals in each scenario are just like children in how they get distracted and start focusing on something else during their journey. It is well organized in how the stories come back around to the beginning. The illustrations are wonderful and the stories are very funny and entertaining.

My son love's Laura's series If you give....My son has many of them and loves Parties, so a winner in our house.

I highly recommend this book - it is perfect for children of all ages and is fun to read and/or listen to.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves this book. We have read it so much that she knows all the words. I have the whole series now and we read them all the time, but this is definitely her favorite.

me and my family love this book! We started with If You Give A Mouse A Cookie - and we all loved that book that we had to get the other ones. It is a great way of explaining what a parent goes through a on a day with a child -- in the the eyes of a child. Even my 6 month old loves this book!

Our youngest son has wanted this book since before it came out. I put him off over and over again because of the price at the bookstore. I decided recently to look for it on eBay and ironically it showed up the day before his 6th birthday. What a perfect birthday present!

I bought this book because we have several others from the same author and love them. It was my daughters birthday so I thought that would be a great addition to our collection. We love to look at the funny pictures at bedtime. This series of If you give... is great for young and old.
