If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Joffe Numeroff (1998, Hardcover)

Th book is fun to read with my child. The words are not overly complex for a toddler. As an adult you don't get quickly bored of reading this book multiple times. The art work is also fun. My son really enjoys "reading" it to me now.

This book is very humorous and perfect for a beginning reader. The story is cute, and the illustrations are delightful. There are other books is this series that children really love. (If You Give a Mouse a Cookie; If You Give a Mouse a Muffin; If You Give a Pig a Party) I would recommend these books for early readers.

I absolutely LOVE this book, It reminds me of my young daughter, and the steps it takes to keep a toddler entertained. I only wish it came as a cardboard book.

My daughter had a mini paperback copy of this book, but lost it. I checked other on-line sites for another copy, but they seemed a little too expensive, especially when you figured in shipping costs. I searched for this product on e-bay and was surprised to find a larger hard copy of this book available, and at a much lesser price. My daughter has me read this book to her almost every night! She absolutely loves this free-flowing tale about a pancake eating pig, and the ensuing antics which occur. My 4 year old is just learning how to read and comprehend what she's reading and/or what is being read to her, so I find this book to be an easy read, easy to follow, and the illustrations help to explain the story. This is truly one of our favorite books!

This is my daughter's favorite book. She is twelve now but it doesn't matter. She reads it all of the time. In her eyes it is and will always be a classic. It is such a cute story about a pig. Everytime I hear it I have to stop whatever I'm doing just to listen to it and see all of the beautiful colors. Thank you for such a wonderful, special story.

what a great book. my little sister loves it. we read it to her every night and she still doesn't get enough of it. great book with great pictures.
