Released in 1999, "If I Left The Zoo" was originally slatted to be called "If I Ran The Zoo" but it was changed since it conflicted with a Dr. Suess title. The band's third album contains 11 tracks, highlighted by the song "Unforgetful You", which also appeared in the film Drive Me Crazy (1999). Other tracks to look out for are No One Loves Me Like You, Grace, I'm Alright, and Can't Erase It.
There is also a little known factoid on the Jars of Clay track, "Hand." The same song was covered in 1998 by Christian artist Jonathan Noel in his album entitled...Hand.
If I Left The Zoo is a worthy follow-up to the self-titled album and Much Afraid. Similar to it's predecessors, If I Left The Zoo is another great album which you can just pop into your player and not have to worry about it for the next 40 minutes. But don't just take my word for it, get your own copy today!
