When was the last time you felt hunger?

I've read just about every diet book on the market and this is one that provides a realistic and effective program for changing your thinking about eating and dieting. Yes, it makes you explore your feelings, it talks about goal setting, and self management like most books on the subject. However, the part of the book that is about eating itself is EXCELLENT material. It had never occured to me before to stop and ask myself the question "Am I hungry?" before I actually ate anything. Most American's don't even know what hunger feels like. I know I certainly didn't. After reading this book I now know what hunger feels like, and I know when I'm full. Not stuffed from overeating, but full from eating just what my body needs. If you have never known the feeling of hunger, then how can you know when you are full? Finally for the first time in my life I'm losing weight, and not missing food at all. I still eat the things I love to eat, but I wait until I am truly hungry, then eat just enough for the hunger to go away. It is astounding to me how little food I actually need to feel full and be satisfied for hours. It's amazing! So simple! How could I have missed it all these years? You won't regret reading this book and following the principles it outlines. I was so out of touch with my body it is no wonder I piled on the pounds all these years. A great book!
