IMHO, anybody who takes politics seriously is going to be in a world of hurt for the next few decades. Politics has been getting more and more strident, more and more personal. And quite frankly, I can't imagine why anyone would want to run for an office anymore unless they are a glutton for punishment. -- And then there is Ann Coulter's new book to throw gasoline in the fire...
As the other reviewers have already mentioned, Ann is being Ann in this book. She has lots of pointed zingers that are really quite funny. Some are hilarious. This book is really a compilation of her best/favorite quotes from interviews, lectures, articles and other books she wrote. They are grouped in short chapters that covers a wide gamut of everything that has to do with what's she thinks is wrong with our world.
The bottom line is this, if you belong to the left side of the political spectrum, you are going to hate the book. Ann is pretty brutal in a deliciously ironic way. She leaves nothing behind. And sorry, you will be disappointed because there is NOTHING in the book that proves Ann Coulter as a member of any "hate group."
If you are conservative or someone like me, who doesn't take much seriously... Then this book was written for you...
But to be fair, I have to say that a little bit of Ann Coulter goes a long way. But when there is a whole book FULL of zingers, stingers and whatnot -- for some people, it can be a little too much at one time. I would suggest that Ann put in some stories to moderate the book so it would be a much easier read.
This book is perfect for sharing a laugh with someone with similar views. But please, don't use this book as a sledgehammer against the poor liberals (they are people too)... All in all, I think Ann Coulter is going to leave a mark with her new book.

Say what you will, she doesn't care an neither do I. Ann Coulter is brilliant. If you are a liberal upon reading this book your head will spin and you will vomit pea soup while conservatives will rejoice at her frankness because everything she says is exactly what conservatives are thinking. The world would be a better place if we had more women like her and more politicians like her.

Ann Coulter makes it easier than ever for readers to realize how far removed from reality liberals and the Democrats have planted themselves. Chapter after chapter, she delivers facts and references that tear through their modis operandi: When they're not convulsing in shrill overreactions, they bathe themselves with their lying stench, leaving truth-hating liberals cornered under the spotlight of sheer truth and rendering those who continually believe them without excuse to remain in the comfort of burying one's head in the sand. Upon the slightest inspection, rank liberal lunacy doesn't justify their gaseous emissions or those who only pay attention during election - when liberals magically change their positions to tickle the ears of the easily frightened. Her thoroughly enjoyable wit, as always, adds a welcomed spice necessary to allow the reader to forget how much of a perpetual chore exposing liberals can be.

Bought it for my daughter for her birthday and had to read it myself. I loved it.
Ann Coulter at her best. It's a compilation of her best quotes from her books, columns, and interviews. Not a politically correct page in the book (except for some quotes from liberals). Truth with a kick.

) Basically, Coulter's greatest hits list, in generally one-sentence paragraph form. If you love Coulter and have read all her stuff, then this will provide little for you that you have not already seen. It does, however, share some of her more trenchant remarks from interviews. I mark it "average" because it's merely Coulter Redux. On her own, in any form, though, Coulter's prose surpasses almost all her contemporaries'; most of her sentiments ain't bad, either.

I purchased the book to re-affirm the craziness of Ann Coulter. She is just plain ridiculous. Ann Coulter is one of the least intelligent and malicious people on the face of the earth. We all know that nobody would care what she has to say, if she didn’t try to be so spiteful. This book is just more conservative rhetoric of Coulter and her crazy attempts to divide Americans, although, anyone who reads her rhetoric usually is just as malevolent and hateful as Ann herself… Her words aren’t worth the aggravation they fabricate…
