Saw Mandisa at Women of Faith event. She was truly amazing. Her energy is
endless & her faith in the Lord is very inspring. It was interesting to read
her story & the ups & downs on her journey. This girl is not finished yet!!

) I decided to buy this book after seeing Mandisa on Huckabee. She is really good and Season 5 of AI was the most talented group ever. I think out of Mandisa, Chris, Kellie, Kat and Taylor that any of them could have been the American Idol that year!! She is very open and real in this book and I loved the parts on her battle with her weight and I admire her strong faith too. It made me reevaluate my own with our Lord, Jesus and as I have trouble with controlling my weight too, it helped me in that respect. A truly wondeful person.

) Mandisa is the American Idol contestant who gave Simon "what for" and he in turn, had to apologize for his cruel comments. He later had to go further and praise her for her wonderful voice. This is interesting for anyone who watches American Idol, for singers or music-lovers, or for biography readers. Well written!
