This book does go into the different laces such as, reticella, French (including Valenciennes), Brussels and Flemish needlepoints.. It covers Embroidered and Bobbin laces.
It also shows some Belgian laces including Bruges...... It shows Tambour and machine patterned laces..
The author considers Filet, Kintting and crochet as "craft laces."
This is a good book to keep in your "lace" library.. However, as with most of these books.. the black and white photos can be good to very bad.. the close-ups are not bad and it does help with identifying some laces.
