Ideas for Great Backyard Cottages by Cynthia Overbeck Bix (2002, Paperback, Illustrated)

I was considering building a guest cottage in my backyard, but had been very unhappy with the information I had found. I needed an inspiration to build something not the typical box. I wanted a very small (12x20) building which would contain a sleeping area and a small bath. This book was so inspiring, it let me picture what I wanted in my backyard easily. It was well organized as to the types of buildings you might need, with pictures and layouts. I would recommend it to anyone needing inspiration outside the boring box that is always possible when building a small building.
