The Ice Man by Philip Carlo (2006, Hardcover)

This is one of the most fascinating books I've ever read! It is a must read for any true crime fans! A true portrait of a genuine psychopath! I would also recommend Philip Carlo's book on the Hillside Stranglers as well. I read that some time ago and it is well worth reading!

This is an excellent "guy's book" that is hard to put down, even for someone who doesn't read much. It opens your eyes to what really happens in our society and sheds new light on the mafia and organized crime. Although I don't condone it, it would also make a nice reference book for anyone planning to 'off' their spouse.

I loved this book! Not only was it written very well but it was full of information about Richard and his background.
When you read about his childhood you can't help but feel sorry for himself then you read of the murders he committed and you think something else

I bought this book after seeing the author Philip Carlo interviewed on CNN. The book is well written but full of factual holes. After reading the book I immediately bought the HBO specials on Richard Kuklinski. There seems to be a conflict in stories between the book and Richard's actual interviews. Although the book was a fairly good read I am left wondering what the truth really is. If you have a morbid curiosity about how a hit man/serial killer might operate then this book MIGHT be for you.

I like the book very much. I enjoy reading books about actual events, even though some might be very intense.

I was told about this book by a friend. He recommended it very highly.

I bought this book as a Christmas gift so time was of the essence, but it came in plenty of time and was in the brand new condition I was promised.
